Staff Accountant

PEO Canada is partnering with our client, a leader in providing technology solutions to organizations, to hire a Staff Accountant. This is a Hybrid based role located in Mississauga. The Staff Accountant is required to work independently and handle company accounting processes with accuracy and timeliness.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter non-purchase order invoices
  • Process new vendors
  • Generate customer invoices for recurring software contracts
  • Generate customer invoices for time billing
  • Generate reimbursable expense invoices
  • Application of customer receipts
  • Process new customers
  • Create sales orders
  • Create purchase orders
  • Special projects as required

Required Skills

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong computer skills including experience with Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
  • Flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high volume, rapidly changing, team-focused environment
