PEO Canada is partnering with our client, a leader in providing technology solutions to organizations, to hire a Staff Accountant. This is a Hybrid based role located in Mississauga. The Staff Accountant is required to work independently and handle company accounting processes with accuracy and timeliness.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter non-purchase order invoices
- Process new vendors
- Generate customer invoices for recurring software contracts
- Generate customer invoices for time billing
- Generate reimbursable expense invoices
- Application of customer receipts
- Process new customers
- Create sales orders
- Create purchase orders
- Special projects as required
Required Skills
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong computer skills including experience with Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
- Flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high volume, rapidly changing, team-focused environment
