Parts Sales Representative

PEO Canada is working on behalf of our client, a leader in pipeline construction equipment, to hire a Parts Sales Representative for their Acheson facility. The successful candidate will have the ability to build strong working relationships with customers, vendors and other departments within the company.

Description

• Provide parts quotes to internal and external customers via telephone, email or fax as well as assist product support staff and account manager with inquires.
• Look up parts using supplier catalogs.
• Email invoices and obtain purchase orders from customers as required.
• Responsible for crediting parts returns.
• Responsible for warehouse procedures and organization.
• Responsible for maintaining parts inventory levels.
• Keep detailed shipping/receiving logs to account for all parts that enter and leave the facility.
• Search for used parts using parts locator systems.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading trucks using a forklift.

Required Skills

Successful applicants must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively handle a high volume of paperwork. Other qualifications required are:
• Parts Journeyman/Red Seal Certificate.
• PC literacy and experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Power Point and Excel).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem solver and customer service driven.
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience.
• Experience with Caterpillar software programs is an asset.
