Digital Graphic Designer

As a member of the marketing department, you will be tasked with designing various assets that play a crucial role in both marketing and sales initiatives.
The design priorities span a range of experience levels: from LinkedIn graphics or website icons through to technical infographics and conference booth designs.
As such, the successful candidate must be well versed to create complex assets, but also be comfortable creating simple design work when requested.

Description

• Contribute to overall marketing strategy aimed at building brand awareness and credibility through robust graphic design assets in both print and digital formats
• Work closely with sales and marketing colleagues on specific graphic design needs that accompany both internal and public facing assets
• Apply designer knowledge/experience to overall marketing initiatives to ensure designed assets align with brand image and messaging
• Own the design process behind simultaneous initiatives while managing personal workflows, deliverables, and deadlines
• Design branded digital graphics for social media purposes
• Design branded digital graphics for use in advertisement campaigns including banners, infographics, interactive infographics, etc.
• Provide creative assets and overall design concepts for brochures, datasheets, tri-folds, etc. used for both digital and print
• Create physical booth designs for use at industry conferences around the globe
• Work closely with external third-parties including booth vendors, conference coordinators, print shops, advertising companies, etc. for any design needs
• Design marketing website graphics including icons, screenshots, illustrations, hero images, etc.
• Contribute to overall layout of marketing website
• Design email templates and associated graphics for distribution via MailChimp
• Contribute to design of product presentations, content snippets, and other assets used by sales
• Work closely with animator for any specific design needs required for video creation
• Comfortable with Company’s software User Interfaces to take screenshots and incorporate them in designed print and digital assets
• Create clear and concise visionary guidance documents when working with colleagues or third-parties to ensure all stakeholders expect the same design outcome
• Perform research to stay atop industry trends that impact meaningful designs

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or certificate in digital design, digital media, graphic design, graphic communications, or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of graphic design experience in relevant enterprise software, or equivalent experience.
• Strong portfolio of design work, showing solutions to business problems through effective design
• Experience creating graphics for SaaS or FinTech companies considered a strength, but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite
• Experience designing assets for popular social media platforms
• Experience designing assets for Email Marketing Platforms (MailChimp)
• Experience with office365 or similar cloud collaboration/co-authoring tools
• Working knowledge of at least one image editing tool
• Familiarity with basic graphic design concepts such as bleed and crop marks.
