Bilingual Benefits Administrator – PEO Canada

PEO Canada is an employee management company with over 20 years of experience in the industry. We are an outsource partner providing payroll, benefits, human resources and workers compensation administrative services to clients across Canada. Our clients work in a variety of industries including Information Technology, Renewable Energy, Oil and Gas Service, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Finance, Not-for-Profit etc.
This is an ideal position for someone who is looking to expand the breadth of their Group Benefits knowledge, enjoys working in a busy team environment and is able to think outside of the box. This individual must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients, external employees and co-workers in order to promote consistent quality across all service offerings.


Duties include but are not limited to:

o Responding to employee/employer questions and concerns that are received via e-mail or phone regarding all aspects of our benefit services

o Group benefit and retirement savings program enrolment, administration and education

o Administration and application of premium deductions and taxable benefits – some previous payroll experience is preferred

o Ensuring employee/employer contributions and remittances are processed accurately

o Administering the claims process for medical, dental coverage, life insurance, disability, critical illness and Provincial Health Care

o Reconciliation of monthly benefit, provincial health care, and health care spending accounts

o Administration and facilitation of disability, critical illness and life insurance claims

o Client meetings and presentations of benefit/retirement programs to employees

o Experience with Group Net, or another online benefits program is an asset

Required Skills

Our business is based on the relationships we build with our clients and external employees. If you have excellent, proven, communication and client service skills with great attention to detail and are able to multi-task, we welcome your interest in this position.

We are looking for candidates that have a minimum 2 years of experience in a benefit focused position. CEBS or other benefits administration courses and previous payroll experience would be an asset. Bilingual French/English language is required
